Thandanani-Photo Dave HemmingThandanani Gumede

Thandanani has toured in the UK for two seasons before co-founding Zulu Tradition. His eloquent English often leads him to be the group's official spokesman. Back home in Durban he had had a music group of his own, performing part time while at University studying law. Thanda is the group's administrator

Bongi GwalaBongi Gwala

Bongi Siyabonga Gwala has worked with other traditional dance and song troupes, touring the UK and abroad. His stage presence alone makes him an asset to the company, but he is not only a fabulous all-round performer, singer, dancer and drummer, but he writes many of the group's original songs. He returns to the UK as a full ember of Zulu Tradition in October 2011.
